Designed for anglers and wine lovers of all experience levels, this intimate gathering balances time on the water with thoughtfully curated evenings around the table—celebrating craftsmanship, place, and connection in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Guests arrive in time for dinner on July 19 and depart after breakfast on July 23.

What Is Wine Week?

Wine Week is a four-night, all-inclusive lodge experience combining guided fly fishing on Montana’s most storied rivers with nightly wine-driven culinary programming.

Each day follows the natural rhythm of life at the lodge:

  • Morning and afternoon fishing on rivers such as the Big Hole, Madison, Jefferson, Ruby, and Beaverhead

  • Time to unwind back at the lodge before dinner

  • Evenings centered on themed meals, curated wines, and engaging conversation

All fly-fishing skill levels are welcome—from first-time anglers to seasoned fishermen. Our guides are casual, encouraging, and exceptional teachers, making the experience feel like fishing with friends who just happen to know these rivers inside and out.

Around the World in Four Rivers

Evenings at the lodge are where the world opens up. During Wine Week 2026, guests will explore iconic fly-fishing destinations through food and wine—each inspired by a legendary river system and its surrounding culture.

Drawing from globally renowned regions, the week may include:

  • Argentina’s Tunuyán River, paired with Uco Valley wines alongside traditional asado and empanadas

  • Spain’s Ebro River, paired with Rioja selections and a menu inspired by tapas and paella

  • New Zealand’s Mataura River, matched with Central Otago wines and peak summer harvest dishes featuring lamb and seasonal produce

  • A final evening celebrating the Pacific Northwest, pairing Oregon and Washington wines with a regionally inspired menu

Each multicourse dinner is prepared by Healing Waters Lodge’s exceptional culinary team and paired with wines selected to reflect both place and story. After dinner, guests gather under Montana’s wide-open stars—often ending the night in the hot tub, wine glasses in hand.
