2021 Fly Fishing Schools: Fish Like a Guide, But, Live Like a Client

April 25-30, May 1-6 and October 1-6:  Healing Waters Lodge offers three fly fishing school opportunities for guests to improve their fly fishing knowledge and skills. Our guides conduct classroom instruction followed by guided fly fishing on local waters such as the Beaverhead, Big Hole, Jefferson, Madison and Ruby, including some private water access.  Class instruction includes: discussion about equipment, elements of a good fly cast, casting skills, types of casting; reading the water; entomology and fly selection; dry fly fishing, nymphing, streamer fishing; wade fishing and fishing from a boat, netting a fish, landing a fish and releasing a fishing;and so much more.

Fly Fishing School package includes: Single room occupancy, all meals at the lodge, and use of loaner equipment, classroom instruction, handouts, and guided fly fishing.  Our guest rooms have two queen-sized beds, private bathroom, wifi and internet access, patios with fantastic views of the surrounding landscapes.  Our cuisine is prepared fresh daily by our Chefs and include a hearty breakfast, stream-side lunches, appetizers followed by a fine dinner.  Beer and wine are complimentary to your meals.  Our fly shop is equipped with loaner gear for our guests to use: rods, reels, waders, boots, walk sticks, etc.
